Tawala Wayuu Fest in the 93 park


The magic and the color of the Wayuú weavers arrive in Bogotá transformed into unique pieces to dress the trees located in Parque 93 , as part of the Tawala Wayuú Fest.

This event, which will take place from November 11 to 20, mixes crafts with cultural and artistic activities, seeks to empower Wayuu women and exalt their strength, work and cultural richness, through yarn bombing, street art interventions that use pieces in thread, wool or knit instead of paint.

With this artistic intervention, different activities will be carried out, such as guided tours of the artistic exhibition of the Park. Weaving workshops led by Wayuú women will also be held.

During the mornings, the Yoga Al Parque space will be opened with the teachers of the Art of Living.

Likewise, there will be two conversations, one of them is 'Living without stress', on November 12 at 10 in the morning with the Art of Living, who will connect with the true essence, developing skills and enhancing through breathing the release of stress and focus of the mind. In this theoretical-practical workshop they will teach different aspects of yoga, meditation and breathing.

The talk on 'Conscious Food' will be held on Saturday, November 19 at 10 in the morning. In this theoretical-practical workshop, they will present techniques to eat healthy. Additionally, there will be a relaxation session to energize the body.
