Juyá is the rain, the most important god for the Wayú because in the Upper Guajira, where most of this indigenous people live, they understand what it is to die of thirst. María Uriana knows this very well. Four of her eleven children died from starvation and dehydration. She told Noticias Caracol about her ordeal.
